European Pollen Database
I started working for the EPD in 2008 as a member of the mapping and data accuracy group. After it was decided to move the EPD under Neotoma, I started to volunteer as one of the data stewards. I am responsible for curating the data prior to uploading it to the database and have the ability to correct data that are already stored in the database. I am mostly responsible for curating data from central and eastern Europe, and also pollen data of past interglacials, but technically I am happy to help with any European region.
Biogeosciences
I am proud to serve as associate editor of Biogeosciences since 2020, an open-access journal working on a non-profit basis. The objective of the journal is to cross boundaries between established sciences of biology, geoscience, chemistry, or physics and achieve an interdisciplinary view of their interactions. BG also welcomes a wide range of articles focused on palaeoecology.
